Investing in Creative Futures
Thank You to the Shire of Mundaring – Major Funder of the Robert Juniper Award for the Arts
The Robert Juniper Award for the Arts is made possible through the generous support of Friends of the Trust, Donations, and a significant sponsorship by Trish Juniper and Juniper Galleries. The Trustees of RJAFTA are now delighted to welcome the Shire of Mundaring as a Major Funder and Partner. Under a three-year funding agreement, the Shire has committed to helping the Mundaring Bicentennial Scholarship Trust deliver this Award, which provides vital encouragement and financial support to emerging artists under 35 connected to the Shire.
This partnership reflects the Shire’s ongoing commitment to culture and creativity as a way of enriching community life.
The Shire’s principles of community funding recognises the power of the arts to enhance quality of life, strengthen community connections, and generate wider economic benefits. By supporting local organisations like the Robert Juniper Award for the Arts, the Shire not only ensures our sustainability but also helps us to attract further funding and opportunities. The agreement also ensures accountability, inclusion, and strong recognition of the Shire of Mundaring’s role as a key supporter of the Award.
On behalf of the Trustees, artists and community members who benefit from this important Award, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Shire of Mundaring. Their significant investment enables young artists to pursue their passion, grow their skills and share their creativity with the wider community. The Robert Juniper Award for the Arts would not be possible without this significant partnership, and we are proud to acknowledge the Shire of Mundaring as a Major Funder.
